Thought For Today (Personal) 7/31/10

Regardless of whether students stay for the entire class I teach or leave within 5 minutes of the class (to intense I have been told), I want them to understand that both God and I love and believe in them!

The goal of my teaching has always been to demonstrate the love of Jesus, not to make people feel like they now owe it to me to come to class.

Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today (Personal) 7/30/10

Here is what I discovered. Each student that attend classes I teach has a family member or friend with needs, ready to be helped. As I serve my way into these student's lives, their world is opened up to me, along with more opportunities to demonstrate the love of God.

The next thing I knew, there were 50 students attending classes I teach, then 75, and the number is still growing. I'm the same, but the classes grew because I am committed to serving people of the classes I teach one by one.

I know now this kind of heart to generously bless others is the perfect catalyst for showing the love of God!

Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today (Personal) 7/29/10

With what God has told and commissioned me to do as a Yoga teacher - I know my mission. I have my mandate.

I know there may be some challenges ahead, but I am determined to succeed! Many students that attend classes I teach have given up on God.

I know God has called me to love and help the poor in spirit and the hurting that attend classes I teach. I will not throw in the towel because of challenges.

I will not care about the numbers; I will simply do my part to love and serve the students that attend and leave the growth up to God.

Much love,
Joseph
