Thought For Today - 4/3/10

Guys, getting rid of bitter feelings can be as simple as truly forgiving and moving on. Even when your bitterness has no concrete object, you can forgive situations too, which includes people.

The healing may be challenging but will be easier if you remind yourself that you are the only entity truly affected by your emotional state.

In time, you will discover that letting go of your bitterness frees you to initiate the healing process and allows you to once again celebrate the possibility of the more wonderful life you deserve, which also includes walking in the love of God.

Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 4/2/10

Your confession every morning should be, "I do not have a care in this world because I've cast every one of them onto my Lord."

Remember, though, God will not take your cares away from you. You have to give them to Him. Then you have to replace those worries with the Word of God.

You are the one who has to keep your thoughts under control. But you can do it. The Greater One dwells within you. He is able to put you over. Commit to it. You'll never have to worry again.

Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 4/1/10

If depression has put you into a spiritual nosedive, all you have to do to break out of it is to get your eyes off the past and onto your future. A future that's been guaranteed by God through the exceedingly great and precious promises in His Word.

Chances are, that won't come easily to you at first. Your mind has probably had years of practice in focusing on the past.

But, don't give into the past! Purposely meditate on the Word of God. Replace thoughts of the past with scriptural promises about your future and be diligent about it. Then, you will begin to see yourself as God sees you - a child of God, instead something you will never be.

Much love,
Joseph
