Thougth For Today - 3/31/09

Focus your attention on the promise of God. Keep His Word in front of your eyes and in your ears until you can see it coming to pass with the eyes of your spirit.

All God expects us to do - ONLY BELIEVE. It is just that simple? If you are believing God's Word instead of focusing of your own limitations, you will end up walking and living in the BLESSINGS OF GOD.

Don't look at your own ability. Look at God's ability. Keep your attention on the power and promise of God until you are fully persuaded that God can and will bring it to pass in your life!

I love you all! As we move into the month of April 2009 - go there with THE SPIRIT OF FAITH!

Thought For Today - 3/30/09

It is what you say continually that comes to pass in your life!

So if you are believing God for finances, make it a habit to say things like this: "According to Deuteronomy 28, lack is a curse of the law. And, Galatians 3:13 says Jesus has redeemed me from that curse. Therefore I am redeemed from the curse of lack! My needs are met according to God's riches in glory by Christ Jesus!"

Then every time your bills come to mind, call them paid in the Name of Jesus. Call yourself prosperous. Call yourself debt free. By the spirit of faith call things that be not as though they were.

Guys, I have done this and it works!

Thought For Today - 3/29/09

It is faith that reaches into the realm of the spirit, grasps the promise of God and brings forth a tangible, physical fulfillment of that promise. It brings spiritual blessings. It brings the car you need, or the healing for your body. It brings action in this earth.

Something to think about . . . Nothing intimidates God. It is as easy for Him to buy you a new home as it is for Him to pay your rent!

Thought For Today - 3/28/09

No matter how difficult a situation you may be facing today, God can turn it around! The doctors may have told you there is no hope. Your bank account may be empty and the creditors knocking on your door.

There may be trouble in your family or on your joy. Your problems may be stacked so high, you feel like you can never overcome them. But, don't let the devil fool you. He has never devised a problem that FAITH in God can not fix!

People with the spirit of faith ALWAYS receive the blessings of God. They may go through tests and trials but they come out supernaturally every time!

Stay in the unbeatable spirit of FAITH in GOD!

Thought For Today - 3/27/09

I have what I call a prayer list or prayer projects. I list down what I'm believing God for. I pray once over them. Then, I mediate and confess the list/projects from that day forward.

Sometimes it takes time for the prayers to be answered. I have to use my faith (on purpose) and have patience. Patience is the spiritual force that under grids our faith so we remain steadfast while God is working out our situations. It is the supernatural force that makes us strong enough to persevere until the answer comes.

Now, patience is not a passive attitude that lies down and takes whatever comes. Patience really says - make a quality decision as soon as you pray in line with the Word of God that nothing - absolutely nothing - will be able to pry you away from that Word!

Thought For Today - 3/26/09

We will all come face to face with crisis. It's not if but when. You may be experiencing one today as you read this blog. Many times we can't help or solve the situation we are in. We have tried everything human possible, but it was not enough. That is the time you need DIVINE HELP!

You don't give up. You don't give end. You don't quit! You get into the Word of God and find your VICTORY! I have had to do this many, many times. I had to do it a couple of days ago. God has provided all that we need through His great and precious promises.

Again, your VICTORY is in the Word of God. Hang onto His Word and before you know it - your so-call crisis will no longer be.

Thought For Today - 3/25/09

I always have gasoline for my vehicle and I always have food on my table. Why? Because I am a tither and a sower of seed. I believe God and will stay with His program for my life!

That is what all of us should be doing right now. We should be laying hold on the hope that is set before us. We should be declaring right in the face of the worst financial storm we have ever seen, "THE BLESSING of the Lord makes me rich and He adds no sorrow with it!" (See Proverbs 10:22.)

Instead of worrying about the financial situation around us, let's believe God to be the answer to it. In these troubled times, Jesus is our provider and is the only safe place to be, so let's keep giving and sharing the good news with those who are floundering!

Thought For Today - 3/24/09

The source of our hope is the promise of God. We find it by going to the Bible and finding the promises that cover our situation.

"What if I don't know where in the Word the situation is covered?"

Ask God to show you. Say, "Lord, this is my situation and I need to know what You have said about it in your Word." Then turn off the TV, shut your ears to all the mess the news media is spouting and start digging in your Bible. Study Deuteronomy 28. Find out what belongs to you through THE BLESSING and from what Jesus has delivered you by redeeming you from the curse.

Thought For Today - 3/23/09

Fear can cause people to do crazy things and especially when it comes to finances in this day and time. I hear of people selling their cars and purchasing motor scooters - just to save gas. I hear of people cashing in stock and bonds due to panic and it's the wrong time. I even hear of born-again Bible-believing Christian are living in fear and have stop tithing and giving to the work of the Gospel.

Well, let me say this and I trust you will not get offended - now is especially not the time to stop tithing and giving! Matter of fact, now is the time to give more financially for the work of the gospel. I am!

Your faith connects you to THE BLESSINGS of God. Fear connects you to lack! As born-again children of God, we are never without hope. No matter how bad things look in the natural, we have hope in every situation because THE BLESSING of God is with us!

Thought For Today - 3/22/09

You should always be ready to help a person who is really hungry or in want or distress. This is right, good and true. However, be sure that you do not make a parasite of the other.

Your assistance must always be based on Divine guidance and your motivation must be to help them to help themselves. Teach the other where to find the riches of life and how to become self-reliant and how to contribute their best to humanity, and they will never want a bowl of soup, an old suit of clothes, or a handout.

Thought For Today - 3/21/09

God is the main source of my supply - meeting all my needs at every instant.

During the day when thoughts come to your mind, such as "I am short of money. I don't know how to pay for this - pay for that. What have I to give? I am broke," etc. NEVER permit the sentences to be finished in your mind!

I want you to persist in neutralizing the negativity by immediately affirming: God is the constant source of my supply, meeting all my needs instantaneously!

You might have to do this 30, 40, 100 times in one hour, but after a few days the momentum and force of the habitual negative thoughts will die out and cease to be trouble for you.

From my understanding - God is pretty much a cool, happy and easy going God. The only time I see Him getting serious is when sin entered into the world. We are blessed because our sins are forgiven.

Thought For Today - 3/19/09

Now if your faith is weak and sickly, it is because your spiritual connection with the Lord is faulty. Maybe there is a fuse blown. Maybe a switch is out. But there it is.

Now there must be a right adjustment of the soul to the body and of soul and body and spirit. Now I am a threefold being, if I want to put it that way.

To get the highest results my spirit must be dominant. My soul must be subservient to my spirit. My body must be under the control of my soul. Then when my body and soul and spirit are in rapport, when they are in perfect fellowship with each other, they can bring forth real results, can't they?

Thought For Today - 3/18/09

Ease is health. Dis-ease is sickness. I believe there are three kinds of sickness - 1) sickness in the body; 2) sickness in the soul; 3) sickness in the spirit.

The basic sickness is spirit sickness. I venture to say - that if you could be healed in your spirit, you would be well in your body. But, the whole problem is cleaning up your spirit.

For example, I had to see myself successful in the spirit and my body reacts to that. Do you know the place you are whipped first is not in your mind, but in your spirit. You say, "Oh, my body is so tired." Your body is tired the moment that the spirit is discouraged. Your body breaks down under it.

A man is defeated only when he is defeated in his spirit. Let a man lose courage - and courage is not a product of the intellect. When he loses courage he is whipped, and the only way to put the man on him feet again is to renew a right spirit within him.

Today, I want to encourage you to keep pressing forward. God is doing more for you than the enemy (darkness) could ever do to you!

Thought For Today - 3/17/09

Very seldom will you ever hear me talk or mention darkness or the devil. Why? Jesus took care of him! Jesus has the keys to hell and death, and He has mastered that individual and that condition once and for all.

If you and I have as much faith to believe it as we have to believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is our Savior, we would have mighty little trouble with darkness and the devil or his power while we live in this world. It is not worth-while talking about a man after he is wiped out!

Thought For Today - 3/16/09

One of the outreaching of the natural, universal man is to be in union with God. Christianity brings us unto union with God. The ministry of Jesus is at the right hand of God.

Jesus is called our High Priest in the Book of Romans. We see Jesus taking the blood - His blood and carrying it unto the Holy Place, and pouring it out on the mercy seat.

He is our great High Priest. That is His ministry. He sat down. He is sitting there as a Mediator between God and man. He is there as the Intercessor. He is there as Lord. He is there as Head of the Church.

Jesus can be touched with the feeling of our infirmity. He is our representative at the throne of the highest authority in the universe. He is there as our substitute and representative.

Thought For Today - 3/15/09

The subject of forgiveness has a twofold application. In other words, you have to forgive others when they miss it, but you also have to forgive yourself when you miss it in some area of your life.

If you don't learn this lesson, you will be crippled and handicapped all the rest of your life in living for God and walking with Him.

See John 1:9. If you will repent and confessed your sin to God, the Bible says He is faithful and just to forgive you and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. And God will not remember that you ever did anything wrong (see Isa. 43:25).

Thought For Today - 3/14/09

In Emerson's essay on Compensation he says: "Love, and you shall be loved. All love is mathematically just, as much as the two sides of an algebraic equation."

When one comes along who appreciates all that is highest and best in us and, like God, forgives the worst in us and invites us to sit by the fire of His own great and good love, in that restoring our faith in ourselves, how can we turn away from such a one! We cannot. We love Him. We love God.

Thought For Today - 3/13/09

God has flung open to us the door of fellowship with Him. He has said, "I'm here for you. Just draw near to Me and I'll draw near to you. I'll give you the wisdom you need. I'll strengthen you and equip you and help you in every area of your life."

Yet how many Christians are daily taking advantage of this wonderful privilege? Too few. They are too busy with the affairs of life to take the time for Him.

It if my prayer that the Holy Spirit will give you and me a deeper revelation of this truth and He will strengthen us in our commitment to put first things first and make a living connection with Jesus every day.

I do know from experience, it will forever change your life!

Thought For Today - 3/12/09

The Bible leaves no question about it. God's people are supposed to be rich. Not just rich in spirit. Not just rich in righteousness, love, joy, peace and the fellowship of God. Not even rich only in relationships and spiritual rewards. God's people are to be rich - financially wealthy and prosperous in every possible way with plenty of money.

No matter what our economic situation, level of education or employment opportunities, THE BLESSING OF GOD has come upon us all. And, it is THE BLESSING OF GOD that makes rich and adds no sorrow with it! (see Proverbs 10:22)

Instead of working "for a living," you WORK ON ASSIGNMENT FOR GOD. You do whatever He tells you to do.

Put your faith in THE BLESSING OF GOD and let it go to work for you. I'm not blessed because I'm rich, I'm rich because I'm blessed!

Thought For Today - 3/11/09

If you can't imagine a thing you can't believe it. If you can't believe it you can't say it. If you can't say it, it will not come to pass!

Now, I didn't say CANNOT IMAGINE. You can. But, you need to control it! You can imagine for example - seeing yourself losing your job, losing your home, losing your health and losing your life before you turn 50 years old. You worry or mediate on it until you believe it. Then, you say it, and say it, and worry, and say it some more, until it comes to pass. And then you say "Why does this kind of thing always happen to me?"

As believers of Christ - we have the advantage and it is found in the Word. Look at 2 Corinthians 10:3-5:

Verse 3, For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
Verse 4, (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Verse 5, Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Do what to imaginations that rise up against what you know God's Word says? Cast them down! And, put them in prison so they can never take root and spoil your faith. You know what the Word says, and you are committed to it.

Your eyes are fixed on the TRUTH. GOD IS TRUTH! "My needs are met according to His riches in glory!"

Now the more you keep looking at it, at Jesus, at your merciful, heavenly, rich Father, the stronger your imagination - or your inner image and purpose becomes. That's the mighty power in verse 4. It is no longer just your imagination anymore. It is a blueprint for faith. Hope! Now watch LOVE bring it to pass.

Thought For Today - 3/10/09

Many people - including Christians today don't know they have been reconciled unto God. They think God is mad at them or that He is after them to punish them.

Most of them have heard the message of condemnation preached instead of the message of reconciliation. So they think God is sitting up in Heaven with a big "baseball bat," ready to punish them for their sins, saying, "I'm going to get you!"

2 Corinthians 5:19 (Amplified) states: "It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, NOT COUNTING UP and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor)."

Something to think about.

Thought For Today - 3/9/09

God is calling men and women to a holier consecration, to a higher place in Him. Our minds need to be stayed in Christ, kept by the power of God, filled with the Holy Spirit of Christ, so that we reflect His beauty, we show forth His love, we manifest His sweetness and evidence His power.

If we reach a place where we lose our appetite for the Word of God and would rather talk with people than read the Bible, or rather read books about the Bible than to read the Bible, then we know we are regressing in our spirit.

Know this - the past ended one second ago. From this point forward, you can be cleaned and renewed, filled with His Spirit and used in many, many different ways for His honor and to His glory!

Thought For Today - 3/8/09

2009 started off being the best and greatest year of my life! I started confessing this back in the summer of 2008.

I cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. I bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. I keep my eyes on what God's Word says and I am committed to it.

As I keep looking to Jesus, my inner image becomes stronger and my purpose becomes more clear. The mighty power of God is at work in me and on my behalf.

This year is going to be the best and greatest year of my life!

Thought For Today 3/7/09

IF your wife does not know you are a Christian, nobody else will be likely to. If your husband does not know you are a Christian, it is a poor testimony!

It is the woman that is with you, who eats with you, and sleeps with you, that will know whether you are a child of God or not.

It is the man who lives in the same house with you, and the people in your community, who will know best how much of the life of God radiates from your own soul.

Thoughts For Today - 3/6/09

When a Christian is born of God and becomes a real Christian, he or she is made a Christ-man or Christ-woman. If the world wants to see Jesus, it must look upon the Christian, who is the Christ-man or Christ-woman, just as we who want to look upon the Father and understand Him, look upon the man Jesus, Who was the embodiment of the Father.

Everything that Jesus did was the will and the Word of the Father. So everything the Christian does, if he or she is a real one, should be the will and the Word of Jesus Christ.

The Christian commits him/herself as entirely to the will of Jesus, and becomes a Christ-man or Christ-woman as Jesus committed Himself to the will of the Father, and became a God-man.

In short, the secret of Christianity is not in doing. The secret is in being. Real Christianity is in being a possessor of the nature of Jesus Christ.

Thought For Today - 3/5/09

The real purpose of becoming a Christian is not to save yourself from hell, or be saved to go to heaven. It is to become a child of God, with the character of Jesus Christ, to stand before men, refusing to sin, refusing to bow our heads in shame, preferring to die rather than dishonor the Son of God!

Thought For Today - 3/4/09

The Word of God does not give me the privilege of seeking guidance of angels, let alone the spirit of the dead, or the spirit of a living man either. The Word of God only gives me one privilege.

There is One Mind that knows all, that is the mind of God, and if I am His child, and if my heart is made pure by the blood of His Son - Jesus, then I have a right to come into His presence and secure anything my heart may want!

Thought For Today - 3/3/09

If you need something from God, you have to stand in faith on the Word of God. Hold on to the promise. Believe it until it manifests.

You will have lots of opportunity to be moved by what you see. But don't! Instead be moved by what you believe. What you believe will take over the seen realm.

Do not focus on afflictions or lack.

If you are believing for a new car, don't focus on the old jalopy that will not start. Faith lives in the promise.

No matter what you need today, find a promise from God's Word and believe it. Put it in your heart and in your mouth, and it will begin to work for you - that's faith. There is no getting around that process.

Hey, I want to introduce you to Alison Lumbatis. I felt a need to show case one of our own. I met Alison in Yoga class at 24HF in Murphy.

I could tell from her first class with me she was born to do Yoga. After a few classes I found out she is a Dallas based actress. Wow! I am so blessed to have so many talent individuals that attend Yoga classes I teach.

Some of Alison's recent work includes Brookstone Catalog and being in the April issue of "D" Magazine. It's a political satire of George W. Bush moving to Dallas. Alison is one of the protesters/picketers. I will get a copy of this issue!

Weekend Update

Hi There:

Many of you have asked when or will I ever teach class on Sunday. Well, you now have your wish come true. I'm now teaching a 4pm Sunday class at Twist Power Yoga in Dallas (corner of Marsh/Forest). I also teach there on Wednesdays - 8:30am.

Thought For Today - 3/2/09

If you are speaking negative words of doubt and unbelief, you have a heart problem. "For out of the fullness (the overflow, the superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks" (Matthew 12:34, The Amplified Bible).

Your future is literally stored in your heart. Make sure it's full of the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and faith goes by saying the Word of God. You release your faith in words that come from your heart. What you say is what you are calling into your life.

Thought For Today - 3/1/09

I want you to know that no matter what your situation is, or how serious it looks, that situation can change - if you will hear what God says about it, and put His promise in your heart and in your mouth until all doubt is crowded out.

Just being born again does not guarantee you a victorious life. Faith is the key to receiving. It takes faith to bring things from the unseen realm of the spirit into the seen realm - the here and now.
