Thought For Today - 9/30/10
I often hear people say that God has more important things to do or think about than them. They think this thought is humble, but in my opinion, it is a disguised arrogance.
How can one think that God who is God over all things, including the universe, can work at full capacity, taking care of all, not some of His creation?
Let me stress this to you - to God we are everything when He becomes everything to us! His love for you and I are always at work.
God has a master plan for your life, my life and all life. But, the only thing that will prevent His master plan for you is you!
Something to think about?
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/29/10
I'm saying this again, everything we do should be based on the love of God. And, every situation we are faced with daily is an opportunity to walk in love.
I now, in any situation that I experience where love does not come forth, I take a step back and confess that love is king in that situation.
Once you come to this point in your life, you will no longer experience fear, doubt, anxiety or become anxious. You have risen to the understanding that love can and will resolve any situation 100% of the time!
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/28/10
Whatever you focus on will come forth. You can focus on negative things and they will appear. You can focus on positive things and they will appear.
I have done both and I rather focus on the positive things of life. The only way I have been able to do this is through the power of love. The love of God!
It is a choice we all have. What's yours?
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/27/10
I often tell student that I teach Yoga because I love teaching Yoga. But as soon as the love is gone (I don't believe it ever will), then I will no longer teach.
Daily, I pray and ask God to be in my thoughts, my heart and especially my attitude as I walk before students and others. It is my greatest desire to follow Christ's example and bring peace, rest, hope and love to name a few to others.
Only God can actually help you to do this. His love is everything and I want His love in everything I do and say!
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/26/10
I really have a sense that God is in the background working on something just for me. I know He is in my life and I sense something good is on the arising.
Even the challenges that come my way seen to lately not even have an effect on me. It seems like my spirit knows that something good is about to happen.
Just as I sense this about me, you too can expect something good to happen to you. Begin to look for divine appointment, divine connections, divine relationships to appear.
It may not appear in the natural so quickly, but grab hold of the vision. See it in the spirit. Start hoping and "keep hope alive." Even meditate on it for a while.
Yes, something good is about to happen.
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/25/10
From personal experience, when the time has come for one of your dreams to be fulfilled, your level of expectation will begin to grow and grow and grow.
Deep down in your spirit person, you will have a "knowing," a sense and a firm confidence that your time is drawing close. The circumstances may seem totally opposed to having your dream fulfilled. But, a peace and rest in your spirit will rule in your heart.
One thing I learn during this time is to not jump ahead of God's timing. But, neither did I lag behind in disobedience to what I was told to do. In keeping in constant fellowship and friendship with God, I was able to find myself in the right place at the right time!
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/24/10
Something very serious has been happening to Christians that I have notice. We have allowed things which we have heard, the message of faith and righteousness, slip.
I am talking about those of us who have heard the Word and have known the thrill of living by faith.
I don't care how long you have been a Christian or how long you have been practicing the principles of faith. You can easily slip into unbelief about the promises of God. And, when you do, it can cost you dearly.
We must get back to spending time in God's Word, hanging onto the promises of God by faith day after day. We must seek the Word and refusing to let it slip.
We can not get casual about the Word, especially in the day and time we are now living. If we slack off, it will give darkness the opportunity to catch us unprepared and steal what we have learned.
Begin to dig more deeply in the Word than ever. Be diligent to keep your faith from slipping! I have.
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/23/10
I run into many people who feel like they have already missed God's plan for their lives and have made some serious mistakes too. Don't be surprised I have felt the same.
What I found out that God always has a way to make wrong things right. I have seen God move supernaturally in my life on many, many many occasion. His movement has allowed me to be used in great and mighty ways for His glory.
Let me assure you God can and has the ability to overcome any mistakes you have made. If does not matter how and how many times you have missed God or what errors and mistakes you have committed. God's grace and mercy are much, much, much greater than your and mine mistakes!
Trust Him to get you back on the right path. I did!
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/22/10
"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
I am more determined today to be consistent in living for Jesus! No matter what others are and will do, I will remain in living for Jesus!
I'm determine to stay and stand on His Word (the Bible) every day. Jesus said if we would continue in His Word, then we would be His disciples. He said if we would continue, we would know the truth and that truth would make us free (John 8:31-32). There's a revelation of God that comes from consistency that the inconsistent person will never see.
You too, determine today to be consistent. Don't try to base today on yesterday's Bible study. Base today on today's Bible study. Start with the Word today, stay on the Word all day, and end the day with the Word. Then tomorrow get up and do it all again!
Again, no matter what others will or are doing, there is power in constant consistency. As for me I serve Jesus Christ!
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/21/10
Well, I found more ability to truly surrender to God this past weekend. My inside has been telling me for some time now to "move Joseph, make the change, do it now!" Yet, I only now felt it was time for the move and the surrender.
What I have learned is when we don't flow or move when we are prompted to, doors will not be open, advancement will not come and we will be stuck in situations that can only be turned around by obeying. We just need to avoid the unnecessary confrontations that come about from not moving and / or surrendering.
My advise to you? Begin to recognize that God is speaking to you and He probably wants you to move in a direction that will change your life for the better. Accept it and surrender. Yes, a shift will take place in your life. But, what an adventure you will experience!
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/19/10
There are times when my past wants to come back. There are even times when people will come and say to me "I remember what you did back when." I tell them that was a different person.
I had to learn to move forward, letting go of the old, the failures and even past victories. I learned to allow God's will to be done in my life and trust Him in ALL THINGS.
I know God has a better future for me and you too! I know God is working on my behalf. I have found favor in His eyes and His mercy and grace is everlasting. I also know the best is yet to come.
So, today, leave the past behind and press (maybe run) forward. Your blessings and prosperity is there and NOW!
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/17/10
Every thing I do or say also has an effect that touches the individuals I come in contact with.
One main thing I found out is when I'm around people, I can pick up their energy or experience their spirit - experiencing what they feel and being able to relate to them on a more personal level.
This can be draining. Yet, Love moves and encourage me forward and towards these individuals. The end result is Love wants to bring them closer to God - to His Light.
I'm no longer my own. His will be done in my life. What about you?
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/16/10
Over the past couple of months I have challenged students in the classes I teach. The challenges has been spiritual, mental and physical. All classes have experienced discomfort and they have been taken out of their comfort zones, but gradually.
There is a price they are having to pay for if I can use the word "evolution." The classes are now more physical, but the spiritual growth that I see is much greater than the "small" price on the physical part.
My desire is to take them to new level of faith that in time will refine their purpose or calling in life. I see many growing, moving forward and have asked for more challenges. Their soul wants to grow more.
The joy I see in their eyes now outweigh any discomfort and challenges they have experienced and will experience.
Still love me?:) I yet love you!:)
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/15/10
To many times in the past I have not taken the time to allow myself to just be still regarding choices I needed to make with situations. In not doing this I didn't allow God to speak to me regarding my decisions which many times turned out to not be the right choice.
There are times I move (and you too) forward in what I will call a gut feeling. But, in those times I had enough sense to ask God to direct or change my path if I was heading down the wrong road. And, going down the wrong road can be a time of growth, but the growth could have been learned without pain?
Now, I seek the wisdom of God in ALL things and will not move forward unless or until He tells me to. In doing this, I have made the best decision ever possible for myself and others involved.
Much love,
Joseph

Some of you know this and others may not. I get up every morning with a gleam in my eye, ready to bring the saving, healing, delivering power of the Lord Jesus Christ to a lost world that is waiting to receive it.
My life is truly an adventure God intended it to be. But, the best is yet to come!:)

Thought For Today - 9/13/10
Today, how about making a decision to walk in love? Don't criticize today but show compassion.
Let God show you how to truly love. He is so creative. He can tell you how to be loving to the people who give you the hardest time of all.
God will give you the power to go and do something nice for them. Do you know what will happen when you do that? The power of love will enable you to rise above what they did to you and it will not matter.
What will matter, however, is that something eternal will have happened. The very love and presence of God will have invaded that situation. And that love can do things nothing else can do. Love breaks chains. Delivers captives. Heals wounds. Brings people together.
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/12/10
There have been times when I wanted to be harsh or critical in situations. But, I remember this - Jesus shed His blood for that person regardless of how ugly they are acting or how wrong they are.
I also asked myself Is this how Jesus would speak to this person? Is this the tone of voice He would use?
Jesus is all about love. Jesus understands that people are hurting and they need help - not condemnation.
So now I keep that in mind when I'm dealing with someone I feel is wrong. I consider them. I consider what they are going through. If I don't know what they are going through, then I do one of two things: either find out or keep my MOUTH SHUT!
I'm not about hurting someones feelings in the name of being right. The presence of God is not involved in that. Love goes out of the way to see to it that people’s feelings are not hurt. It is not touchy and it does not cause hurts.
Something to think about!
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/11/10
You see, we can believe God and exercise faith for anything that is promised in the Bible. But we must base our faith upon what God’s Word says. If we get into areas beyond the Word, we will get into gray areas—into dark areas. As long as we’re in the Word, we’re in the light. Then we’re on safe ground—sure ground.
Some may say, “I don’t know just what direction to take in life, so what shall I believe for?”
Well, trust God for guidance, because He has promised to guide you. Claim His guidance by faith. Say, “The Lord is guiding me. He is leading me. I may not see it this moment. I may not even know what to do at the moment; but, He is my Guide and I trust Him.”
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14). God will guide you. But remember that He leads you just one step at a time.
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/10/10
There are some days I just want to be quiet, including my spirit and mind. Those are the days I just want to live in the moment with a clear sense of life. Those days I want to be present, just sort see me for who I am. Not sure if you can relate to what I'm writing or not?
Those are also the days that I am aware of my surroundings. They become loud and present. Those are the days I want to just fly like a bird. Again, not sure if you can relate to what I'm writing or not?
But at the end of the day, I relax in the love of the Father (God). His love is there and it holds me and makes me secure - knowing that everything will and will be aright.
I'm to trust Him in all things and allow His will to be done and continue in my life!
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/9/10
I tell people a lot that everything is in the mind - their mind. The only obstacles are the ones we create in own mind. The battle then is who has the power - you or your mind?
When I realize that I could control the modification of my mind, only then am I able to move pass the uncertainty and forward to joy.
I yet have to remind myself and remember that no matter what happens in my life, if I adjust my speech, resist unhealthy thoughts, don't give into what my mind wants, and walk in love, there will be no situation that cannot be resolved!
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/8/10
I found in the past I had to chose to happy. But then, there were (are) days that were challenging regarding getting there.
I had a choice to chose either being happy about an unmet expectation or have sadness, anger, guilt or fear about the expectation.
I found that it was within my ability to choose happiness over unhappiness regarding every situation.
So, today make a choice to be happy, find just one thing to be happy about!

Thought For Today - 9/7/10
How about tomorrow before you get out of bed in the morning, pray for yourself. Pray that you will be a blessing to all you come in contact with. Pray this all throughout the day.
Picture your day, take the time to fill in any details — where you are going, who you will see, what you will do. Then send forth love to everyone you come in contact with.
You will notice you are now moving into a new place in life - a place of unconditional love. The same love God gives us!

Thought For Today - 9/6/10
I'm always looking for opportunities to get people connected with Christ. One of the ways I do this is my speaking words of love, peace, rest, healing to name a few during the classes I teach.
I found as I show kindness and love towards people, they begin to question how they too can show and experience what I have experience.
If you really desire to connect people to God, look for ways to be a blessing to others. As you do you are actually building God's kingdom.:)
So, find someone today that needs a connection or re-connection with God. Also, notice what you experience too.
Much love,
Joseph

Thought For Today - 9/4/10
I had to come to the point in my life that I wanted to live the kind of life God had in mind for me. I had to exchange my thoughts for His thoughts.
I had to lay down the perspectives I had gained through past experiences and instead pick up the wisdom of God and His Word (the Bible).
Through His Word I learned what reality was. I learned what is really going on in the world. And I learned His plan for getting me through it in victory.
So the answer to every situation is in the Word. Let the Word change your thinking as it has mine. Times are not as challenging as they look when you look at them from God’s viewpoint!

Short to the point . . .
God wants you free. He is not linked up with religious traditions or fear of what others will think.
God wants you to be free to laugh. He wants you to be free to run, leap, sing, and all the things that pertain to freedom.
God wants you to be free to rejoice. He wants you so free that other people will not understand it — they will just want it!
Much love,

I am working for the kingdom of God. I am God's hand extended to needy people. I am at God's command, hearing and listening to His command. Tell me, God, how can I be of service to You today?
Folks, this is what it is all about - serving other!

Thought For Today - 9/1/10
Have you ever experience God telling you to do something, but your flesh just does not want to do? This has happen to me numerous times! Yep, that's right.
For example, God may have told me for months to get up earlier every morning so I can spend more time in prayer or in the Word (reading the Bible). And of course, I would say to myself I have been thinking for months for as doing them. And, yes, I really ought to do that. But then, I would hit the snooze button on may alarm and go back to sleep.
Just perhaps God has been speaking to you about this same thing above or other things you need to make or change in your life. God is really saying, This is what you can do about this situation. Here’s what you need to change.
Much love,
Joseph
